Public transport

Catching public transport is inexpensive and easy. The °µÍø½ûÇø area is well serviced by the train, and a range of free shuttle buses and paid buses.

Around 25 per cent of UOW students, staff and visitors travel by bus to the campus everyday. 

The North Gong (NG) Shuttle is a free UOW bus service for staff, students and visitors for travel to and from the North °µÍø½ûÇø Train Station. This service is operated using new, fully electric zero emissions buses.  All UOW buses are low floor wheelchair accessible.

The Gong Shuttle is a free °µÍø½ûÇø shuttle bus service funded by Transport for NSW, °µÍø½ûÇø City Council and UOW.  All buses operating on this service are low floor wheelchair accessible. 

There are also a range of paid buses that operate directly to the °µÍø½ûÇø Campus, or connect to one of the free shuttle buses. 

Paid bus services

The following buses travel direct to UOW:

  •  from Dapto via the Princes Highway, through Unanderra and Figtree and UOW via Robsons Road.
  •  from °µÍø½ûÇø, Mangerton, Figtree, Mount Keira and UOW via Robsons Road.
  •  from Shellharbour via Shell Cove, Flinders, Warrawong, Windang, Primbee, Warilla.
  •   from Austinmer Station to University of °µÍø½ûÇø.
  •   from Bulli to University of °µÍø½ûÇø.
  •  from Campbelltown to °µÍø½ûÇø.

There are many other buses that connect to these buses, or to a free shuttle bus.  Use the Transport for NSW  or the  app.
