Teachers
UOW is committed to providing an educational approach to academic integrity, recognising that students need to be supported to develop and demonstrate academic skills.
It is the responsibility of UOW teaching staff to foster a culture of learning informed by academic integrity, a principle that is foundational to the educational enterprise of the university.
It is expected that each course offered by UOW will:
- Integrate academic integrity instruction;
- Provide support to students to help them develop good practices;
- Design assessment tasks that focus on students’ ethical research and writing practices, within a discipline context.
The links on this page provide academic staff with the tools, policies, procedures and practical guidance needed to promote academic integrity, prevent misconduct and manage concerns fairly and consistently.
