---

The day started with a tour of WIC‘s newly renovated facilities and a discussion about pathways to university, this was followed by a tour of Kooloobong Village student accommodation. The students were surprised and excited that the village included a theatre room, gaming room and outside cinema.

Students toured the campus, visiting Hope Theatre to see what a lecture theatre looked like, then they walked along the river, taking in the beautiful landscape the University of °µÍø½ûÇø has to offer.

A cultural tour of Mount Keira was the final stop for the day. On arrival, the students enjoyed a smoking ceremony to welcome them onto country cleansing themselves with the smoke. The students were amazed with the view from Mount Keira, and the Dubbo students commented that the area is a beautiful place.

It was a pleasure to host the students and staff from Clontarf and we are  excited about the future student opportunities this visit has opened up. Many of the students were beyond impressed with our Campus and our support services and are now considering UOW, to embark on their higher education journey.
